AFC Fylde Women are an English women's football club affiliated with AFC Fylde, based in Warton, Lancashire, and nicknamed the Coasters. The club has one of the longer histories in the women's game: it was formed back in 1971 under the name Duke of York, as a founder member of the North West Women's League, and later played as Preston Rangers before eventually aligning with AFC Fylde and taking the club's name and identity. That lineage makes it one of the older continuously running women's sides in the north west, predating most of the modern women's pyramid.
