Chester-le-Street Town Women are based in Chester-le-Street, County Durham, playing under the same banner as the town's long-standing football club, which traces back to 1972 and the Cestrians nickname. On the pitch the women's side has been one of the stronger teams in North East regional football, winning the North East Regional Women's League Premier Division title in 2022/23 and again in 2024/25 — the kind of repeated regional success that marks them out as a leading club in the Durham area's women's game.
